Die Serie basiert auf einem wahren Hintergrund. In El Savador hat eine demokratische Regierung unter Arbenz die politische Macht ubernommen. Eine Militaerklicke unter Fuehrung von Armaz stuerzt das Land in einen Buergerkrieg. Unterstuetzung bekommt er vom "Gruenen Ungeheuer",der allmaechtigen United Fruit Company, die um ihren Einfluss in dem kleinen Land fuerchtet. Vor diesem Hintergrund spielt die Handlung um einen ehemaligen deutschen Jagtflieger, den es nach Mittelamerika verschlagen hat. das Land in einen BÃÂÃÂÃÂürgerkrieg. UnterstÃÂÃÂÃÂützung bekommt er vom "GrÃÂÃÂÃÂünen Ungeheuer",der allmÃÂÃÂÃÂächtigen United Fruit Company, die um ihren EinfluÃÂÃÂÃÂàin dem kleinen Land fÃÂÃÂÃÂürchtet. Vor diesem Hintergrund spielt die Handlung um einen ehemaligen deutschen Jagtflieger, den es nach Mittelamerika verschlagen hat.
