A simple photoshoot I did in my garage in order to illustrate the complexity and detail involved in a straightforward shot of people and products. The shoot was actually done over the course of a weekend and, if done all at once, would have taken a total of about 6 hours from set up to teardown. an additional two hours was spent on image management and photoshopping to get the final effect in the image you’ll see at the end.
I also shot the image with two different cameras, the Canon 5DMKII and the Hasselblad H3D purely as an experiment to see which file I like better. In the end, it was a toss up in terms of file quality but, the final image you see here was captured with the H3D.
Feel free to contact me directly if you want to know me about how this was done.
